Stephen Miller says Donald Trump
is a "political genius"

During an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union,” White House advisor Stephen Miller told host Jake Tapper that Donald Trump “is a political genius.”

Here’s what the young man said, “The reality is is the president is a political genius who won against a field of 17 incredible talented people; who took down the Bush dynasty; who took down the Clinton dynasty; who took down the entire media complex with its 90% negative coverage.”

Miller’s need to defend Donald Trump is due to Michael Wolff telling the folks over at “The Today Show” that everybody, which includes Stephen Miller, in the White House know that Donald Trump isn’t right in the head.

Miller told Tapper that Wolff’s description of Trump and others in the book is “grotesque work of fiction” that provides “a lot of joy” to folks in the media who just want to “stick the knife in” the president.

Miller chastised Tapper for what he saw the host as being a problem of what Miller describes as CNN’s “24 hours negative Trump” coverage.

Miller asked if he can have just “3 minutes” to tell folks about the real Donald Trump who he knows and Jake Tapper said no “because it’s my show and I don’t want to do that.”

Tapper went on to talk about Bannon and the role he played in promoting Trump’s border security policy, getting Trump not to honor the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) deal, and pulling the U.S. out of the Paris Climate Accord deal.

Miller told Tapper that folks have “greatly exaggerated” Bannon’s role. Miller also told Tapper that it was Corey Lewandowski, and not Steve Bannon, who helped him to get the job with the Trump Campaign.

And to that, Tapper just looked at him like “huh.” After listening to Miller yammer on, Tapper decided that he had had enough.

So he ended the interview with, “There’s one viewer that you care about right now...and I think I’ve wasted enough of my viewers’ time.”

Yep, ol’ Tap there ended that interview and went on to talk about Jeff Sessions, weed, Republicans trying to get rid of him, and the Democrats coming to ol’ Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III’s aide.

It has been a crazy week.
